A day when Mauleon-Licharre honored the Bask language |

June 25 was a day where the Basque language was particularly honored in Mauleon-Licharre (Maule-Lextarre), capital of the province of Soule (Xiberoa)
  In the morning the Bask Academy - Euskaltzaindia - greeted at a formal ceremony as a full-académician, a son of Maule-Lextarre, the linguist Battittu Coyos, whose speech had the theme "two dichotomies of the Basque language ", namely between" new Basque speakers "and" Basque by birth "and between the Bask dialects and unified bask language" euskara batua ".

Pastoral 'Monzon' in Larrau , August 7th and13 |

This Sunday, August 7th and Saturday, August 13, the village of Larrau play thae pastoral 'Monzon', which evokes the life and struggles of Telesforo Monzon (1904-1981), politician committed to defend the rights of the Bask people and major player of Basque culture. This pastoral, written by singer John Bordachar from Xiberoa (Soule), will be played a third time in Bergara (Gipuzkoa), birthplace of Telesforo Monzon, September 3.
The performances held in Larrau will begin at 15:30 in the morning and it will be possible to attend the Mass celebrated in the presence of actors (10:30) and the parade through the village streets (11:30).

 Xiberoan Eüskaraz Bai alkarteak plantatürik, Eüskararen Egüna agitüko da, arramaiatz edo ekaina honen 25ean, Mauleko arrabotü handian, edo, hobeki erraiteko, Lextarreko plazan, Kürütxe Xurian… kantoreak dioan bezala.
Eüskararen plazalat agertzeko eta süstatzeko egünaldi hori azken hilabete horietan ororetan prestatzen ari da Xiberoko honenbeste bat alkarteko jenteak biltzen dütüan antolamentü talde bat. Xiberoan Eüskaraz Bai alkartea bera, 2009ko apirilaren 24an agitü zen jenteen aitzineko jünta baten ondorioz plantatü zen, Allande ETXART eüskalzale ezagüna delarik bürü haütatürik izan. Ordüz geroz, lan ontsatto egin düe Xiberoan Eüskaraz Bai alkartekoek, Xiberoan, Maulerik eta Atharratzerik haste, eüskararen agerpena zabaltzeko, batez ere salgietan eta ofiziale lankietan. Arrakasta ejerra bildü dü ere salgietako joanarazleen eta ofizialeen artean, orai artinokoan Maule-Lextarreko 50tik goiti saltzale eta ofizialek honetsi beitüe eüskararen zerbait gisaz agerraraztea.
Salgia jonarazle edo ofiziale horiekilako alkarlan bati lotü da Xiberoan Eüskaraz Bai alkartea, sail bakotxeko hiztegitto elebidünak plantan ezartez. Lan horren aküilazale gisa ari da alkarteak langile gisa hartü düan Marie-Jo THORNARY. Hau, estatüak lagüntü lanpostü bati esker hartürik izan da, Xiberoa-Herri Alkargoak, bere gaintitik, bi urteko epean 11.000 euroko soslagüngoa bat eman düalarik.
